A County program may cover every city, only unincorporated County territory, one supervisorial district, or a defined impact area. LA County Financial Clinic

A no-cost County program offering workshops and one-on-one help with business finances, debt, credit, and preparation for loans or grants.

Where: Los Angeles County, countywide
Amount or service: No-cost counseling, workshops, debt help, and capital-readiness support; this is not a cash grant
Geographic limit: For-profit small businesses located and operating anywhere in Los Angeles County may participate, including businesses in incorporated cities and unincorporated areas.
Basic eligibility: Applicants must be for-profit businesses with 100 or fewer employees and no more than $19 million in annual revenue. Documents are required for one-on-one consultations but not for workshops.

East Los Angeles Small Business Recovery Grant

Los Angeles County is accepting applications from eligible small businesses affected by the June 17 Lineage Fire or the May 22 East Los Angeles oil spill.

Where: Los Angeles County designated impact areas
Amount or service: $3,000 for eligible commercial storefronts; $1,000 for eligible home-based businesses with customer presence, sidewalk vendors, and mobile businesses
Geographic limit: Your business address must fall inside one of the County's designated incident impact areas. Businesses elsewhere in East Los Angeles or Los Angeles County do not qualify for this program.
Basic eligibility: The business must have operated at the eligible address at least 30 days before the applicable incident, have 100 or fewer employees, meet the program's revenue and business-type rules, and document or attest to an incident-related disruption.

LA County Sidewalk Vendor Formalization Grant

Los Angeles County offers rolling grants to help eligible sidewalk vendors in unincorporated communities pay for permits, compliance costs, equipment, and specified business needs.

Where: Unincorporated Los Angeles County
Amount or service: $500 to $5,000 paid toward eligible permitting, compliance, equipment, and specified business setup costs
Geographic limit: The vendor must operate on sidewalks in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County and live within Los Angeles County. The County's district locator must show the vending location as unincorporated.
Basic eligibility: Applicants must be self-employed food or merchandise sidewalk vendors operating no more than one cart, have started before March 2023, meet the household-income and COVID-impact rules, and either hold or seek the required County vending registration and related permits.
